Cheer

The Centralia Tigers offer K–8 cheer through the Thurston County Youth Football League (TCYFL), providing athletes with an opportunity to develop their cheerleading skills while supporting Centralia youth football throughout the season.

Tiger Cheer is made up of four teams, with athletes competing across the following divisions:

• Flag Cheer: Kindergarten–1st grade

• Minors Cheer: 2nd–3rd grade

• Junior Varsity Cheer: 4th–5th grade

• Major Varsity Cheer: 6th–8th grade

Each team cheers at TCYFL football games throughout the season, supporting their teammates from the sidelines and representing the Centralia Tigers with pride. Cheerleaders also have opportunities to participate in halftime performances and other community events throughout the season.

The TCYFL cheer season follows the football schedule, beginning with the annual Jamboree and continuing through the regular season and playoffs.

Registration for Tiger Cheer opens April 1st and runs through July 15th, with online registration available throughout the registration period.
